Oasis Full Body Sunless Tan with Exfoliation     $65 and up

Sunless tanning is a safe and practical alternative to sunbathing.
We can give your skin a natural-looking, full body tan without exposing it to harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays. It only takes 20 minute, so you can get tan any time. Come in on a lunch break or after work. No need to wait until summer or fly to the Caribbean. Oh, and we can tan those “hard to reach” places … you know what we mean.

Sunless tan will not wash off and it will gradually fade away in about 7 days.
We use water based tanning spray by
Sun Laboratories that is much better for sensitive skin than oil based sprays. Sunless spray by Sun Laboratories will not turn your skin orange. This product has been well-tested to make sure it provides the color that looks exactly like a natural tan. Even fair-skinned guys, who usually turn pink rather than brown when tanning, will benefit from a bronze color by getting a spray tan.

How to prepare for your tanning session?
We suggest you wear a bathing suit – you got to have the tan lines to match your suit. Wear a bathing suit that you don’t mind getting dirty.
We also recommend you exfoliate the morning before your scheduled tanning session. Exfoliating eliminates the already dead skin cells, so the spray tan will dye the layer of skin that lasts the longest, giving you a longer lasting tan.
If you so desire, we will gladly include exfoliation as a part of the tanning session.
Wear loose clothes - you don’t want too much product to rub off on your tight jeans, leaving lighter spots in your tan.

What to expect?
Expect to be tan, tan, tan. Immediately following the application, your skin will look tan. But it will take  DHA a few hours to react with your skin’s cells and give your skin a golden/brown tan.  Allow yourself at least a day for the tan to take full effect. Your skin will look its best after the first shower.

Will sunless tan stain my clothes?
Immediately following your tanning session the excess of the product might get on your clothes, but it can be easily washed off. You still might not want to wear your favorite shirt to the session, because sweating can cause the DHA to get on your clothes as well. After your first shower your tan will not stain the clothes.

But, I can self tan at home…
At our salon, you will get better, streak free, even coverage unlike majority of in home use self-tanners. Also, the cleanup is easier – DHA could stain some types of clothing or even your carpet and tile, so why not "get messy" in Oasis European Skin Care instead of your bathroom!

How to maintain?
Immediately following your spray tan session try not to sweat or shower for six to eight hours, to allow the DHA to take full effect. After taking your first shower, following sunless tan application, and to help extend the effects of the spray tan, you should apply moisturizer to your skin (Guys, point here - There are many moisturizers on the market, by every cosmetic producer in the world. You can't walk into a pharmacy or department store without finding a full rack of the stuff -- if you're still not sure where to look, ask any member of the fairer sex and they will point you in the right direction.). This will help you keep the tanned skin from shedding too quickly. If you moisturize, you should be able to maintain an optimal tan for 6 to 8 days.

Geek Special – how does spray on tanning work?
The active ingredient in most sunless tanning products is dihydroxyacetone (DHA).
When applied to skin, DHA reacts with the upper layer of your skin, the epidermis, to temporarily darken the skin's appearance. But because the epidermal cells are dead, we constantly shed them so your tan will gradually fade as the dead skin cells slough off. In most cases, the color is completely gone after six to eight days.
Sunless tanning is regarded as safe alternatives to sunbathing. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) considers DHA safe when applied to your skin.
