In-grown hairs form when hairs, growing back after waxing, fail to grow out of the skin. The hairs curl over inside the follicles under the skin and create an unsightly "bump" that can be painful, if it becomes infected. Using a scrub on the part of the body that is getting waxed helps immensely. Using a good body scrub between wax treatments will minimize the appearance of in-grown hairs. But the most important thing is to use a treatment for in-grown hair 1-2 times a day for a week after waxing or as long as needed
How often do I need to wax to maintain?
Your first wax will grow a bit faster than subsequent waxes and you will possibly notice re-growth in 10 days. By the third regular wax (done every 4 weeks) you will notice that your hair is finer and not as dense. The re-growth will be slowed and you will notice that it can take from 3 to 4 weeks to come back. So you may want to consider making your next appointment before you leave the spa or else you will surely lose your nerve
Will It hurt? The short answer is “yes”. The long answer is that it has its painful moments but not nearly as painful as you imagine. It’s a quick pain and generally does not linger. The first wax is the most uncomfortable because you are a “virgin” and your hair and skin are not used to the procedure and you don’t know what to expect. I always tell my clients to at least try it twice and then make a decision if they want to continue on a regular basis - the second time is so much better! During the first wax that you will experience some side effects: That can be small bruises; a minuscule drop of blood from the pores when the hair is first pulled out which subsides right away; redness in the area. The scrotum is a delicate area the first time as well. I use a quality French hard wax on the scrotum and I try to get every single hair. Usually by the second or third time the pain will go away.
On the day of waxing, shower and clean your entire body thoroughly before the appointment. Exfoliate the area that will be waxed with a scrub. Please, skip on the lotion, you'll get better results if your skin is less oily. A day or two before waxing, start washing the area with antibacterial soap or body wash twice a day.
It's NOT a good idea for the 48 hours prior or after waxing to use saunas, hot steamy showers and tanning. You don’t want to make your skin more sensitive. You should probably skip gym on the day of waxing. If possible, wear loose clothing that day to prevent irritation in the post-wax phase.
If you shave, Please don't for at least two weeks prior to your appointment to ensure that your hair is long enough I will need at least ¼ inch re-growth to wax (which makes it long enough to lay flat on your skin). If your hair is long I ask that you try to trim it especially in the mound area to ½ inch

Men Brazilian Waxing is a hair removal on everything in your bikini area. A standard Male Brazilian includes hair removal from the frontal pubic area (the mound), about 2 inches where the upper thigh meets the pubic area, the shaft, scrotum, and anal area.
